Description:

Her life had never been a fairy tale. Adopted at birth, Isabella never felt like she fit in. All she ever wanted was a happy family and a love of her own. When she suddenly became a single mother of two, her life changed for the worst until she ran into a handsome stranger.

A billionaire playboy, Gabriel had lived a charmed life. Never one to settle down, he didn’t understand why he was drawn to this woman he knew his father would never accept. Still, one date leads to another and suddenly he had the life he never knew he always wanted.

Together, their life was perfect, until the lies were exposed. Then, their happily ever after couldn’t be further away.

Excerpt:

“Hey. What’s wrong?”

Gabriel was lying on the bed, an arm covering his face, still wearing the towel he’d left the bathroom in. “Nothing.”

“Liar.” She hopped on the bed and straddled him, the little minx.

“If you’re trying to get my attention, you’ve got it.” He moved his arm and his eyes widened. “You’re naked.” He tried not to stare, but it took everything in him to not drink in the beauty who had settled on his groin.

She giggled. “No, I’m not. I’m wearing a towel.”

“Yes, but it’s in your hair.” Gabriel smiled now and rolled her onto the bed, smoothly landing on top of her. “How do you do it?” He shook his head as he gazed upon her, this woman who had won his heart.

“Do what? That thing in the shower? Oh, so Jessie bought Jenna Jamison’s memoir and there were some tips in it. I finally had someone to practice on. How’d I do?” She winked at him.

“You could definitely use more practice. Any time you’d like, I’d be willing to offer myself as human guinea pig.” He removed his towel from around his waist. “You’re still a little wet.” He began to pat at the water droplets on her skin.

“How do I do what?” Isabella asked quietly. Her nipples had hardened and he was confident she was growing aroused.

“I’m a fool for you, Bella Parker.” He leaned down and planted a kiss on her sternum. “I puked on you…”

“And you just came on my face because you respect me too much to come in my mouth.” She interrupted with a grin. “I’m still trying to figure out the soundness of your reasoning, but hey…at least we were in the shower. And you didn’t blind me, so there’s that.” Her eyes sparkled as she spoke.

“I didn’t say respect.” She opened her mouth, but he silenced her with a finger over her lips. “I said ‘love.’” He took a breath. “It surprised me, too, but I mean it.” Gabriel leaned his head against her chest. “Your heart is absolutely racing.” He gazed at her sweet face. “I honestly didn’t think myself capable of it. My mother broke my heart long ago. I never really healed…until you.” Slowly, he moved his finger from her lips.

This time, Isabella rolled him over with a thrust of her hips. Then she landed on top of him, slowly rearranging herself so she was sitting on his pelvis and his erection was behind her. Gabriel smiled up at her, his face pink from embarrassment. “You’ve changed me, too, you know.” She spoke almost begrudgingly. “I’m falling hard for you, Gabriel.” Her eyes turned glassy. “I didn’t want to. I’m still getting out of my last hopeless relationship.”

He shook his head. “Wait. You think this is hopeless?”

Isabella chewed on the side of her lip. “Sometimes I do. When we’re apart, you seem so far away. When we’re together, I don’t feel good enough for you.”

“My love,” Gabriel moaned. “How can you think these thoughts? I call and text all the time when we’re apart. And when we’re together, I lavish you with attention.”

Her face softened. “This is true.”

“How can you think you’re not good enough for me?” He struggled to sit up and take her in his arms. “You’re the best woman I know. You’re an amazing mom, incredibly talented photographer, and for some reason, you like me.”

“I didn’t say ‘like.’ In fact, I distinctly recall saying I was falling in love with you.” Isabella stared down at him. “You’re going to break my heart, aren’t you?”

“Never,” he vowed, and sealed his promise with a kiss.

“I’m holding you to it.” She sighed and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Review:

This was a very enjoyable story to read. IT has some interesting and multifaceted characters. While it began strangely, I thought, it came around to the main story pretty fast. The story moved well and had a few twists I did not see coming. As a coming of age story it held some truths that all could use. There was one story line that was leFt up in the air and I looked for some word about the next book but could not find anything. While the main characters found closure, the secondary story fell short. If you are looking for a love story with characters that are real, then try this one. RECOMMENDED

Review:
Really great book. I loved this story even though it was not your normal book. I think that Lacey’s character was great and it was an interesting twist on her story with her disability and what she had gone through. I do have to say I hated how it ended. It was kind of a let down. Other that that I loved the story line and was a good book.

Review of Scarless & Sacred:

This is the 3rd book in this series and the story of Theo and Evelina. I really like how the author moves these book together and really are 100% better if read in order. Each book you find out more about the characters in the other books and more is made clear with each book. These 2 characters are some of the most unlikely and I think that’s why no one saw it coming but watching the fall for each other and somehow be the last ones to know. I really like the quote from the book ” Sacrifices are a part of war. No one will walk away from this without scars. ” it really put in prospective the life of these characters and just what they have all lost in the three books. Where book for will take them I’m not sure at this point but if it’s like the other three books it’ll too will have twist and turns.

Description:

Secrets and wars leave the deepest scars.

Evelina Conti has always worn a mask. She is an Outfit principessa, respected and adored. She wasn’t allowed to be anything else. Her father went from a grieving husband to the Outfit boss, and now that Riley heads the family, Eve is more suffocated than ever. No matter how much she hates it, the Conti princess still has a role to play. A little attention from Theo DeLuca seems innocent enough, but nothing is when it comes to him. And certainly not when everyone believes that Theo is out to kill her.

Theo DeLuca has a target on his back. His biggest problem is figuring out who put it there when everyone is aiming at him. He doesn’t need a woman causing him issues, but the Conti princess keeps showing up at the worst times, and he’s the one left saving her. Between the men surrounding him that Theo can’t trust, and the past he can’t outrun, Evelina might be the one thing he doesn’t have to question. But when Riley decides to use Eve as his next move, even Theo might not be able to save her.

The war in Chicago is not even close to being over. This game is deadly. Each hand played cuts another mark into someone else. The Outfit boss is struggling while the men around him are rallying. As the body count continues to rise, the families keep losing.

Sacrifices are a part of war. No one will walk away from this without scars.

PLEASE NOTE: Scarless & Sacred is not intended to be read as a standalone in this series. It is the third book in the series and should be read after the first two books. Trigger Warning: Scarless features graphic violence and scenes of past abuse.

Review for Dealthless & Divided:

Book one in these series really set this series up for a great group of characters. This author has to have a great mind to come up with all of these plots that are going on and we have no idea. The love story in book 1 st Lily and Damian while this story unfolds and you are trying to figure everything out and what you feel to see is that all these characters have intertwined and you really can’t see one without the other.

Reviewed by Brave One

Description:

Lies and love. This is how a war starts.

A life for a life. That’s the mafia way. Damian Rossi owes his life to a man who is ready to collect. That payment comes in the form of an arranged marriage to the daughter of another leading family in the Chicago Outfit. He’s ready to follow through, even if that means making sure Lily knows she’s his.

Lily DeLuca isn’t being given a choice. Forced home to marry a man she doesn’t know and back into a life she’d rather forget, her world is full of half-truths, buried pain, and uncertainty. But Damian is nothing like she expects. His motives aren’t clear. Her beliefs are being tested.

When it comes to this world, no man can be trusted. Someone is ready to flip the Chicago Outfit on its side all for the promise of something better. But no one runs a clean game and these men play for keeps. When blood begins to paint Chicago red, four families will be divided by loyalty, hatred, and revenge. There is no hiding. There is no safety.

No one is deathless.

No one.

Review for Reckless & Ruined:

This is book 2 in this series and this story is the telling for Alessa and Adriano. This was such a sweet story and there were times I was yelling at the book these two were in love for so long and couldn’t show anyone else. I could not believe all the twists and turns for this book, and found myself having no clue what was going to happen. There is love in the series but there’s also a great loss and tragedy. Can’t wait to see what the author has planned for the next book

Reviewed by Brave One

Description:

Play dirty. It’s the only way to win in a war.

Alessa Trentini follows the rules, or so it seems on the outside. A certain Conti has always been able to sway her inner rebel and keep her out of trouble, but even Adriano won’t be able to get her out of her brother’s mess. In a war, no woman is safe if her hand in marriage can advance her family in the world of the mafia. But mistakes of the past have a way of slipping into the present and Alessa will soon learn that even the most shameful of secrets can get her everything she wants.

Adriano Conti’s loyalties are torn as he’s forced to stand at his father’s side while Riley uses his wife’s murder as a way to get higher. Blood comes first and then the Outfit. The one thing he doesn’t question in the war between the families is Alessa Trentini and even that doesn’t seem possible when he’s forced to watch Alessa be used as another man’s pawn. Adriano has his own role to play to get what he wants.

The families in the Outfit have never been more divided than they are now. Blood continues to spill as revenge takes center stage and more lives are lost. But every man in the family is fighting for something different and no one’s intentions can be trusted. Playing a dirty game might be the only way to stay alive.

Even if that means ruining it all.

Excerpt:

While coming out of her hazy sleep, Isabella stretched slightly and felt an arm tighten around her mid section.  She happily reached down to touch him and slowly opened her eyes to find Gabriel staring at her, propped on his side.  “How long have you been awake?” She rubbed at her eyes.

“I don’t know.  I’ve just been lying here studying you.” His lazy smile caused her to blush. Then Gabriel leaned down to graze her cheek with his lips, sending a ripple down her spine.  Isabella looked away, giving him the perfect opportunity to run his fingers down her neck.  She shivered again.

“Stop! I can’t even think with you touching me.” She grinned and covered herself with the sheet.  “So, what shall we do today?”  She tried to change the subject in order to pull herself back together.  It had been so long since she had been caressed and cherished.

“You don’t like me touching you?”

“Au contraire. I love your touch. I’m ridiculously attracted to you, but…” She frowned as she tried to figure out how to explain the emotions she battled.

“There’s always a but.” He chuckled.

“It’s scary getting intimate with someone new.” Isabella sat up and shrugged. “And once we start, there’s no going back. I’m afraid of going too fast, not savoring, missing out on all those glorious stages before the big show.”

Gabriel tugged at his goatee. “Impressive analogy. We’ll take our time, my Bella. I want to savor every moment with you. Does that help?”

“It does. It’s just that…it’s different for me. When we do this, I’m not simply sharing my body, I’m sharing my heart.”

Description:

Thank you for inviting us, the authors of Brit Boys: With Toys, to your blog today, it’s great to be here. This boxed set of M/M stories is very special to us and is the follow on from last year’s Brit Boys: On Boys.

Brit Boys boxed sets feature British characters in British locations and are written by British based authors. Each story is unique, fun and seriously hot!

From coast to coast and city to country Brit boys enjoy playing with each other and their toys. Not any old toys, though; guitars, rope, plugs and Moleskine journals all prove to be enormous fun. Throw in a shop that’s wall to wall with kinky ideas, a journalist on the lookout for the next big thing, and Dominants who insist on obedience and there’s sure to be something to cater for everyone’s taste.

Whether it’s a quickie or a slow indulgence, Brit boys know how to hit the spot and they aim to please every time. So take a ride, fly high, come enjoy these sexy boys and their toys.

Today the authors are answering this question… Do you have a favourite location in the British Isles and if so what is it that you love? Have you ever set a story there…

Yes! I live in West Yorkshire in the north of England, close to the moors made famous by the Bronte sisters. I have set several of my stories here because the wild, austere landscape seems so right for BDSM romances somehow – sort of Heathcliff meets Christian Grey. I’ve also set books in the Scottish Highlands and in Northumberland, other regions I love and where the scenery is as dramatic as my stories.

My favourite location is where I live, in Devon. We have the perfect mix of beaches, countryside and city. I set my last novella, Breaking the Marine here, as this is also where the Marine training base is located.

I sure do. I absolutely adore the Peak District. I’ve set quite a few stories there, yes, including my story in the Brit Boys: On Boys collection, called Love on Location—the location being in the Peak District. The name of the village is fictional, but it’s based on a real place. I’m not sure I can really put my finger on what I love about it. It’s just so beautiful—lots of countryside, lovely town and villages… then the landscape itself is so variable. You’ve got gritstone edges that make it look like you’re on the moon, desolate moors which have a beauty all their own, rolling green hills, deep valleys… the list goes on. It’s just amazing.

My very favourite place on the planet is the English Lake District. I’ve set several novels there. Landscapes, my novella for Brit Boys: On Boys is set there, and the first part of Toys for Boys’ walk across England that Doc and Will do together is through the Lake District. I love the wild beauty of the place and the challenging walking. I also love the fact that you can spend the whole day totally on your own without seeing another person and still end up at a pub for a pint at the end of your walk.

I adore London. I lived there several years ago and I completely fell in love with it. I’ve set many stories in London, I enjoy the vibe, the energy, the pomp and ceremony, the people, the buildings, the history, the food and night life. Everything about it really. I get very excited whenever I get to take a trip to London and always come back inspired. I also like to set stories in Wales which  is where I now live. Wales is a box of treats as it has beautiful coast, cosmopolitan cities and rugged hills and mountains.

I like London. I’ve set a couple of stories there because it means I can justify the expense of ‘researching’ my favourite location.

Sarah Masters

I love the idea of London, and most of my stories are set there. I don’t, however, like going to London. Too busy.

Tabitha Rayne

Location is a funny thing for me, it is more a feeling than a place, does that make sense? Like, I could choose a favourite concert or gig venue but that wouldn’t be what draws me to that place, it is the experience I had there. I love being out in the wild but I don’t mind where. I love the beach, any beach – Scottish beaches are particularly magnificent.
